A New Year for 500 Ambassadors of The Human Safety Net
For the fifth consecutive year, our global community of 500 Ambassadors embarks on a journey as the driving force behind our movement.

Appointed for a 12-month mandate in their respective countries, The Human Safety Net Ambassadors are divided into four specialized teams: Communicators, Reporters, Fundraisers, and the Customer Team. Together, they play a crucial role in advancing The Human Safety Net’s mission, inspiring and mobilizing volunteers to amplify its impact in their communities. These exceptional individuals are thoughtfully selected from all departments within our organization. As we proudly say, “They are the drummers keeping the heart of The Human Safety Net beating every day.”
On December 6th of last year, we hosted our annual “Passing the Flag Ceremony”—an event streamed live for the first time from one of our Family Centres, the Union of Mothers Centres, in Nitra, Slovakia. The timing of this ceremony is no coincidence: it aligns with International Volunteer Day, underscoring our deep gratitude for the remarkable contributions of volunteers.
The ceremony celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments made possible by the energy, creativity, resilience, and unwavering dedication of the Ambassador Teams.
The 2025 Ambassadors wasted no time in launching their year with purpose. They began by defining ambitious goals and crafting plans for impactful initiatives. These efforts will culminate during Ambition Days, where teams from every country will present their strategies, exchange ideas, and collaborate to enhance their projects. This event is a vital platform for fostering innovation and synergy, ensuring that The Human Safety Net continues to make a meaningful difference in communities worldwide.
