The Foundation

The engine of The Human Safety Net is a foundation initiated by Generali, one of the world’s largest insurers.

It extends Generali’s purpose of ‘enabling people to shape a safer future by caring for their lives and dreams’ to the most vulnerable in our society. Generali is mobilizing their people and resources – financial support, time, skills, networks, assets, products - to reach more people and amplify our impact.

We are an open net and we welcome working with companies, organizations and foundations who share the same goals.

Fondazione The Human Safety Net has adopted and disseminated the Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy in order to ensure that children and vulnerable adults engaged through The Human Safety Net initiatives, directly or indirectly, are protected from any form of abuse and exploitation and that The Human Safety Net’s staff, volunteers, associates and partners commit to the highest requirements of safeguarding and protection.
