An art project that explores inclusion and resilience, hope and potential, born not as an individual gesture but as a shared experience. We Rise by Lifting Others is an exhibition by Marinella Senatore created for The Home of The Human Safety Net, in dialogue with the permanent interactive exhibition A World of Potential. We Rise by Lifting Others stems from a participatory and transformative process involving families at risk of social exclusion, supported by The Human Safety Net and some of its partner NGOs in Warsaw, Mestre and Palermo.
Conceived with a declaredly collaborative approach, the exhibition thus challenges the traditional concept of authorship to embrace a dimension of co-creation, within a relational space in which the work takes shape thanks to the direct contribution of the families involved. Opened to coincide with the opening of the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, the exhibition will remain open to the public until 22 March 2027.
