What's on 2025

Once again this year, The Home of The Human Safety Net is hosting part of the program for the second edition of Venice Climate Week, an initiative conceived by journalist Riccardo Luna and curated in collaboration with Sara Roversi (Future Food Institute) and Cristiano Seganfreddo (FlashArt), which has quickly established itself as an international hub for ecological regeneration and climate diplomacy. Organized by the Future Food Institute, the event is an official activity of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (UN Ocean Decade) and is promoted with the support of the City of Venice and the Veneto Region, together with a broad network of foundations, research centers, universities, cultural institutions, industrial partners, civic organizations, and actors in the ecological transition. Six days, seven locations, including The Home, over a hundred international speakers—including scientists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, artists, and activists—for what is one of the leading global events dedicated to the climate crisis and ecological transition, with a specific focus on water-based societies.
