ReadingLab – La memoria dei carrubi (The Memory of the Carob Trees)

A new appointment with ReadingLab. Massimiliano Righetto presents his book La memoria dei Carrubi, published by the Venetian publishing house Squero. It is a story of connections between people, lands and eras. It is the story of a journey, that of Anna, and of a search, that of Saleh, of movements and changes but, at the same time, of a deep-rooted memory. A story that unfolds between Cyrenaica and the province of Treviso, shortly before the start of the Second World War, and between Veneto and Lazio in the present day. A journey through individual and collective memories capable of connecting two worlds that are only apparently very distant.
Massimiliano Righetto’s narration will be accompanied by the resonant tones of the Hang, with music composed and performed by Cristian Mancin, creating a captivating and evocative ensemble.
