What's on 2026

The second event in the Movielab series, curated by Francesco Della Puppa, sociologist and lecturer at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, now in its third edition: “Transformative Visions. Perspectives on the Possible”, under the patronage of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The film bringing our 2026 cinema programme to a close is Venezia Altrove by Elia Romanelli, a documentary exploring how the gradual disappearance of Venice as a living city is reflected in the ongoing search for its traces elsewhere, through evocations, symbols and distant memories that redefine the meaning of roots and identity. Following the screening, the director will be in conversation with film critic and author Giuseppe Ghigi. All screenings in the MovieLab programme are accredited by the Order of Social Workers of the Veneto Region.
