MICRO, a day among insects
Friday, 13 February, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
For families with children aged 6-10
Accustomed to the metallic and artificial sounds of the modern world, the buzzing of a fly can seem annoying. What if we suddenly became insects? This is what happens to the protagonist of the show, MICRO, A DAY AMONG INSECTS, who lives her life with the remote control in her hand, surrounded by metallic, artificial sounds, immersed in the noise and clamour of a big city and who, suddenly, undergoes a magical metamorphosis, from one insect to another, leading the audience on a playful dance among the sounds of nature. Susi Danesin, author and performer, takes us on an extraordinary adventure, using clowning, mime and slapstick techniques. The multiple situations and settings are evoked by the actress's body movements and supported by a sound dramaturgy that the audience will hear through Wi-Fi headphones. The sound environment thus becomes the predominant tool for providing an immersive and all-encompassing experience, accompanying the viewer into the story. A show for everyone, with many different levels of interpretation. At the end, we will see the insects encountered during the performance flying around the city and discover together what it means to be so small among the streets and bridges of Venice. The project, which is part of the Venice Carnival calendar, was created within KTM- Ca' Foscari with Cinema Rental.
