ReadingLab – La memoria dei carrubi (The Memory of the Carob Trees)

Our ReadingLab series returns with the first meeting of the year: Massimiliano Righetto and his book La memoria dei Carrubi, published by the Venetian publishing house Squero. It is a story of connections between people, lands and eras. It is the story of a journey, that of Anna, and of a search, that of Saleh, of movements and changes but, at the same time, of a deep-rooted memory. A story that unfolds between Cyrenaica and the province of Treviso, shortly before the start of the Second World War, and between Veneto and Lazio in the present day. A journey through individual and collective memories capable of connecting two worlds that are only apparently very distant.
