Italy’s biggest event celebrating the joy of reading in museums returns to The Home of The Human Safety Net. A day of animated readings, illustration workshops, and creative activities for children, exploring and developing our strengths through courage, hope, teamwork, and an appreciation of beauty.
For the eighth edition of Avventure tra le Pagine, The Home of The Human Safety Net welcomes renowned Italian and international authors and illustrators for a free, open-to-all event organised in collaboration with Kid Pass.
The programme includes theatre games, read-aloud sessions, movement-based storytelling, team games, and group activities designed to nurture empathy, creativity, active listening, and curiosity.
Meet authors and illustrators including Michelangelo Rossato, author of Chisono and La Favola dei Tarocchi; Stella Nosetta, presenting Il Gattolaio and La Mia Nonna Ratto; Moon Lab, with Non Aver Paura, Piccolo Granchio; comic artist Marco Visentin and illustrator Linda Simionato; Giulia Telli, sharing stories about Luna the panda from the SerenaMente series; Paola Ancillotto and Tiziana Furlan, performing La gara with a puppet theatre; and author Kiki Triantafyllou.
The day will conclude in the auditorium with animated short films from SerenaMente and Ma che Storia!, followed by a storytelling show by Sergio Olivotti in Italian and Italian Sign Language (LIS).
