What's on 2026

A special day dedicated to curiosity, enthusiasm, teamwork and inclusion, as part of the Venice Carnival programme. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., children and adults alike will be welcomed to The Home of The Human Safety Net, which will be transformed into the Home of Curiosity for the occasion. The event, organised by Kid Pass, with partners from the world of art and associations, will feature creative workshops, animated readings, shows for different age groups and participatory experiences, inspired by the contents of the permanent exhibition A World of Potential and the theme of this year's Carnival: the Olympic Games. Among the guests will be illustrator Chiara Raineri, who will lead us on Spettacolare! (Spectacular!), an adventure reserved for those with eyes capable of seeing the marvellous. The programme will close with a grand finale, Il Carnevale delle Meraviglie (The Carnival of Wonders): a theatrical magic performance with Barbamoccolo, with interpreting service in Italian Sign Language (LIS).
