What's on 2026

This event stems from the desire of three organisations – the Istituto Casa Famiglia San Pio X, ICLeS and FLaI – to commemorate the psychoanalyst Annalisa Davanzo, ten years after her passing, and to reflect on the role of psychoanalysis within various care and training institutions. The day will feature accounts from staff at the Casa Famiglia San Pio X and the Casa dell’Ospitalità in Mestre, presentations by a sociologist and a psychoanalyst, and a focus on the training of analysts, as well as on the teaching and transmission of psychoanalytically-oriented theory and clinical practice. The aim is to explore the relationship between psychoanalysis, institutions, the city and service policies, with a view to keeping the spotlight on the various aspects of mental health and the services required to treat and provide support for psychological distress.
