A concert dedicated to African-American spirituals, performed by Altrocanto, the choir conducted by Maestro Marco del Gatto, who has dedicated his repertoire to the memory and power of a musical genre that conveys the full spiritual and emotional strength of a tradition that continues to speak to the present day. Altrocanto will perform a selection of the most representative pieces from their repertoire, taking the audience on a musical journey rich in memory, energy and participation: a rich and vibrant vocal experience, in which the breath of the voices becomes a narrative and a song of freedom. The evening will be dedicated to raising funds for Krama Friends, an organisation working in Cambodia on projects to support children’s education and learning.
