Antonio Marras: “Culture, creativity, and territories”

How can culture and creativity help build new connections and shape the future of local communities? As part of Radar Venezia, fashion designer Antonio Marras meets Angela Vettese and Sara Sozzani Maino at La Casa di The Human Safety Net for a conversation entitled “Culture, Creativity and Territories: Building Ecosystems for the Future.”

Born in Alghero, Sardinia, Antonio Marras has developed a creative practice deeply rooted in his heritage, weaving together fashion, art, music, dance, theatre, and cinema. His approach resonates with Sozzani Maino’s work in supporting new generations of creatives and promoting visions that can transform the industry, as well as with Angela Vettese’s perspective as an art critic and professor of contemporary art theory and criticism at IUAV University of Venice.

In Venice, a city where traditional craftsmanship meets experimentation, the conversation offers an opportunity to reflect on how stories, skills, and ideas can intersect to create new creative ecosystems and shape the future of local communities.

An event exploring how different visions, forms of knowledge, and sensibilities can come together, inspire new possibilities, and give rise to creative ecosystems that celebrate the unique identities of local communities while looking towards the future.
