Venetians by choice. Meeting with Marianna Zannoni

Let’s meet the versatile Marianna Zannoni, born in Liguria but Venetian by choice. Since 2016, she has been the scientific coordinator of activities at the Institute for Theatre and Melodrama of the Giorgio Cini Foundation, where she focuses on enhancing the city’s cultural heritage, managing research, preservation, and promotion of theatrical heritage, organizing conferences, study days, and exhibitions, as well as producing editorial works and cataloged historically significant archives. In 2024, she collaborates with actress Sonia Bergamasco to create an original dramaturgy and promotes a theater festival on the Island of San Giorgio. A lecturer at Ca' Foscari University and at the Carlo Goldoni Theatre Academy of the Veneto Regional Theatre, she has also been a Project Local Operator and trainer for volunteers of the Civil Service-Artists' and Theatre Archives. Additionally, she is committed to promoting Early Childhood Education as a mother, reading ambassador, and a reader for Nati per Leggere (Born to Read).
