In Venice: the home of the other
Thursday 29 May | 5pm

Alberto Toso Fei and Laura Bumbalova accompany us through the maze of Venetian streets, telling stories and legends, between past and present, between myth and toponymy, to tell us about a Venice that has always been inclusive, attentive to the most vulnerable and, in this, has often been ahead of its time. The tour will start from iconic locations such as the Dalmatian School of Saints George and Trifone, Calle degli Albanesi and the Church of La Pietà, finally arriving at the Procuratie in St. Mark's Square, The Home of The Human Safety Net, a contemporary example of a space open to the community that amplifies the values of inclusion and hospitality that are at the heart of The Human Safety Net's programmes.
