Dreams in Transit
Thursday, 4 September, 5.00 p.m.
The exhibition, which includes works by Leila Alaoui, Ange Leccia, Anouk Maugein, Lorraine de Sagazan, and Sarah Makharine, is now enriched with an installation on the façade of Procuratie, to be inaugurated on 4 September, inspired by the artist JR's Inside Out project. The exhibition Dreams in Transit explores that state of suspension that follows migration: a fragile moment between a distant past and a future yet to be drawn. Between migration and reconstruction, the artists trace the contours of a moving imaginary where memory dialogues with expectation and borders move to the rhythm of hope. The exhibition is part of the After Migration programme, launched by Art for Action in collaboration with The Human Safety Net.
