Involved! MovieLab

“Oceans Are the True Continents,” a 2023 film directed by Tommaso Santambrogio, is the latest event in the film series “Sconfinamenti dello sguardo” (Transgressions of the Gaze), featuring a network of university student associations and citizens, coordinated by Professor Francesco Della Puppa of POLIS Social Hub Ca' Foscari and the Baba Jaga association. This time, we are in Cuba, observing the intertwining paths of lovers, widows, and children. Many lives that tell the story of this island and its people, eternally torn between the desire to leave and the will to stay, the aspiration to change skies, and the guilt of abandoning their homeland. After the screening, the director will dialogue with Giulia Briccardi of Rete Cinema in Laguna. The MovieLab “Sconfinamenti dello sguardo” is part of the public engagement program of The Home of The Human Safety Net  “Involved. InnovationLab for Sustainable ChangeMakers.”
