A dialogue about space to understand the Earth
The new appointment with La Scatola di Archimede takes us beyond the atmosphere to look at the future of humanity with different eyes: “Exploring space to understand Earth.”
A meeting between science, imagination, and wonder, to reflect together on how the new season of space exploration, with telescopes, probes, and reusable rockets, is changing the way we know and inhabit the world.
Guiding us on this journey will be Amedeo Balbi, astrophysicist and professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and Massimo Polidoro, science communicator. They will be accompanied by live music from Nadio Marenco and comic interludes from Francesco Lancia and Chiara Galeazzi, for an evening that combines knowledge, lightheartedness, and inspiration.
Before the meeting, at 5:00 p.m., participants will be able to take part in a free guided tour of The Home of the Human Safety Net, in the Procuratie of St. Mark's Square, and the interactive exhibition “A World of Potential.”
