MUSEUM SEED

What is the future of museums? How have they evolved over time and what are they destined to become? As part of Design Week, The Home of The Human Safety Net presents “Museum Seed. The futurability of cultural places”, a book by Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto that discusses museums as places of community and sharing. The book highlights their mission of social inclusion, cultural accessibility and sustainability, content creation, and the activation of new behaviors, all embedded in their DNA as public spaces. The conversation will feature architects Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto, authors of the book and creators of the interior design of The Home of The Human Safety Net and the interactive exhibition “A World of Potential.” Also participating will be Orna Cohen, co-founder of Social Dialogue Enterprise and curator of the exhibition, physician and social psychology professor Paolo Inghilleri, IUAV Rector Benno Albrecht, Emma Ursich, Executive Officer of The Human Safety Net, and cultural manager Davide Rampello.
