The Human Safety Net at the Athletics European Championships in Berlin

With “Unlock the potential – the power of integration of sport” theme on stage at the 2018 edition of the athletics event

The Human Safety Net is taking part to the 2018 edition of the European Athletics Championship, in its first official appearance in Germany.

The biennial athletics event, which is taking place in Berlin from 6 to 12 August, is sponsored by Generali Deutschland at the large Generali Arena, situated in the heart of the capital, where 39 awards ceremonies of the medalists will be held.

In this setting The Human Safety Net will be presented in Germany. "We are pleased to be part of this unique sporting event in the German capital. Together with the organizers, we want to offer athletes and sports enthusiasts a unique experience in the heart of Berlin. At the Generali Arena, we will present our movement, The Human Safety Net, aimed at promoting the support of disadvantaged people worldwide" says Generali Deutschland CEO Giovanni Liverani.

In this context, The Human Safety Net will carry out a series of activities on the fil rouge of “Unlock the potential – the power of integration of sport”, which will be held in the Generali Arena. In a series of debates, athletes will bring their experiences on the stage to talk about the power of sport as a means of integration and inclusion among people.
