Expanding Our National Footprint: Highlights from The Human Safety Net Pan CEE Summit in Warsaw
On 14 and 15 May, Warsaw became a hub of energy, ideas, and collaboration as The Human Safety Net hosted its first Pan CEE Summit — a gathering focused on one central ambition: expanding our national footprint across Central and Eastern Europe.

As our work continues to grow in scale and impact, so does our ambition to extend it to as many people as possible.
The Pan CEE Summit was about people and places. It was about how we can do more — and do it better — at the national level. We heard stories of progress from across the region, shared challenges, and explored new ways to deepen our local presence. Whether it's opening new programme locations, scaling successful initiatives, or forging fresh partnerships.
The conversations with country CEOs and Heads of THSN in Warsaw reinforced our idea that while our mission is global, our work is rooted in local action. And when those local actions are supported, connected, and celebrated across borders, we unlock even greater potential.
As we look to the future, we carry forward the energy of this Summit — and a commitment to expand our footprint, strengthen our network, and reach even more families and refugees who can thrive with the right support.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Warsaw and continues to push this mission forward. Together, we are unlocking the potential of people — one community at a time.
