The health and wellness programme Generali Vitality is now fully integrated to allow direct donations to The Human Safety Net

Vitality members gift 18,000 vouchers in 2021 valued at more than €80,000

Generali’s Vitality health and wellness programme became fully integrated with The Human Safety Net in 2021, resulting in its members donating more than 18,000 of the vouchers they earned with a total value exceeding €80,000.

Vitality members now have the option to donate their Active Rewards vouchers to The Human Safety Net as part of Vitality’s commitment to generating positive social impact.

Members of Generali Vitality are being rewarded for every step they take towards a healthier lifestyle. As they engage with the programme’s activities, they earn points – and the more points they earn, the higher the rewards, in the form of vouchers from Vitality’s partners.

The vouchers are provided by partners including Amazon, Zalando and HelloFresh, and are available to members who complete the active weekly challenge. Now, members are also given the option to donate their vouchers directly to The Human Safety Net, rather than using them themselves.

Already available in Germany, France, Austria, Spain and Italy, the Vitality programme will be expanded and launched in the Czech Republic and Poland in 2022.

Generali and The Human Safety Net are continuing to explore new ways to integrate the Group’s core business activities and resources into socially impactful areas of work.
