After 500 years, the iconic building overlooking St. Marks’s Square opened its door to the public with a new purpose: to be an open place to inspire, engage and build an open net for social impact in the world. This event marks the final celebration of Generali's 190th anniversary.
From now on, the 3rd floor of this historic building is officially The Home of The Human Safety Net, a home for everyone!
This place is divided into three areas, each of them with a concrete mission:
“A World of Potential” is an interactive exhibition in which you will be able to understand more about yourself and your different strengths. At the end of the journey, you will discover your top strength and meet a person from The Human Safety Net network who shares the same top strength as you. In addition, you will be able to donate half of the ticket price to the programmes. All Generali people, employees and agents enjoy free access to the exhibition.
The Hall is the place where people meet, exchange, talk and bring forward ideas about social good. The Human Safety Net will welcome in this large auditorium other organizations to inspire and engage their people on sustainability objectives at their core. This place will also host art performances and events.
The Hub: At the heart of the third floor, The Hub is a a place where The Human Safety Net’s teams, their NGO partners, and volunteers can all meet up and collaborate on the concept of social innovation with a common purpose. They will work on new ideas, create new concepts, and bring back these ideas in their countries. It will act as fuel to move forward and look beyond the present, to build a more inclusive future.
Besides the official inauguration ceremony hosted in The Hall by our Group CEO Ph. Donnet, thousands of employees and agents took part in Digital Live Tour event. They enjoyed an immersive experience which ended on the Terrasse of Procuratie Vecchie, like a symbol to share their engagement to the world.
As a message to the world and to remember this historical moment, thousands of Generali people from all over the world created a HUMAN picture of Procuratie Vecchie. Discover the video and share it: https://bit.ly/THSNmosaic
