A selection of short films curated by Francesco Della Puppa and WeShort invites young people to reflect on the value of respect, relationships and shared responsibility. In dialogue with A World of Potential, the programme guides participants in exploring the potential of the Me and the We, and the impact each individual can have on the community, whilst developing emotional intelligence, courage and active citizenship.

MEME – “DE ANIMA” THEATRE COMPANY

To mark World Human Rights Day, a dance-theatre performance that invites young people to reflect on how images, news and social media influence our view of the world and of human rights. An experience which, in dialogue with A World of Potential, transforms creativity, curiosity, perseverance and hope into an invitation to consciously choose one’s role in shaping the future.

THE FUTURE REPAIRER

In the not-too-distant future, the Machine of Tomorrow has ground to a halt. To get it running again, invisible superpowers are needed: emotional intelligence, team spirit, courage and kindness. This interactive theatre performance by Kid Pass, led by Rossana Mantese, guides children on a journey of discovery into non-cognitive skills and Futures Literacy, showing how every small daily choice can help build a more sustainable, inclusive future full of possibilities.

THE CIRCUS OF WONDER - CIRCO PATUF

Through the poetic language of the contemporary circus, clowns, music and acrobatics become an invitation to see the world through fresh eyes. A tender show that celebrates the power of laughter, social intelligence and an appreciation of beauty, reminding us that empathy, solidarity and the ability to care for others are the starting point for building more inclusive communities and shared futures.

THE SNAILS’ WALK – SILENT TALE - ROERSO MONDO

14 APRIL 2027
A national premiere of a theatrical fairy tale by Alessandra Racca, ‘the lady of the socks’, which tells the story of the search for one’s true self and potential in a society that is moving ever faster. Set to a soundtrack by Michele Moi, this poetic narrative – brought to the stage by Ania Rizzi Bogdan and directed by Nicola Cazzalini – invites young people to reflect on the value of time, relationships and the impact each generation can have on the next, rediscovering the courage to imagine more humane times and futures.

FOREST TUNERS – BARCHETTABLU STUDY CENTRE

12 MAY 2027
As part of the Sustainable Development Festival, a performance featuring readings and video readings inspired by the intelligence of forests explores how trees and roots build relationships based on listening, collaboration and mutual support. An experience which, in dialogue with A World of Potential, invites children to cultivate kindness, gratitude, teamwork and hope, discovering that human communities too can grow strong when they learn to connect like a forest.
