For Families

For Families
  • A circuit of afternoon workshops for families with children aged 0 to 6 years developed by the Centro Studi BarchettaBlu.

The workshops are designed to accompany children and their parents on a path of knowledge of themselves and others through stories, readings, theatre, art, yoga, poetry in different languages.

It is divided into five thematic strands: IMAGINARIES play-stories to learn who we are, HORIZONS the listening body, DIFFERENT ELEMENTS there is room for everyone, TRANSFORMATIONS creativity makes a difference, DISCOVER this is me, this is you.

  • A cycle of play-theatre workshops for boys and girls between 8 and 13 years old proposed by the Centro Studi BarchettaBlu and designed on the meaning of travelling and discovering the other.

Life itself is a wonderful journey, sometimes complex, sometimes surprising. One can travel with the imagination, with emotions, putting oneself at stake, leaving one's own security behind to discover new people, unknown worlds and new parts of oneself.

All people go on a journey in search of a better life, so let's prepare our suitcase in which to store precious thoughts, memories, dreams, and let's get ready to leave!

  • A low-voice reading event for families with children aged 0-6 is held on the penultimate Sunday of each month.

Our volunteers always choose and read new stories to stimulate the little ones' imagination and an inclusive view of the world, taking into account the presence of and interaction with others. Nati per Leggere books are available in our Library and also in our Bookstore. Before we begin: snack for everyone!

This year, the Nati per Leggere calendar is also enriched with a very special series of events. It is QUELLILA. Readings in many languages of the world, readings in different languages inspired by Daniele Movarelli's book on the construction of a fearsome imaginary Other and the deconstruction of prejudices arising from non-knowledge: a great invitation to encounter and intercultural dialogue.

  • A 4-date cycle for children aged 6 to 10, designed by Kid Pass and inspired by a quote by Albert Einstein ‘I have no particular talents, I am just passionately curious’. The idea is that at the basis of all knowledge and achievements, what moves the human soul is a constant quest for knowledge, improvement and self-discovery.

In each of us, curiosity and courage are what drives us to put ourselves on the line, to look beyond what has been acquired and to create new possibilities. This is therefore a cycle of plastic-pictorial art-therapy meetings designed to enhance non-verbal expressiveness, increase the ability to communicate with peers and become aware of one's own and others' emotions: “With eyes closed”, “With nose up”, “With hands on the ground”, “With ears open”.

  • A project developed by Baba Jaga-Casa delle Meraviglie, in collaboration with Albero della Vita and A2030 Social Innovation Designers with the aim of raising participants' awareness of the great potential hidden within them.

Each of us has talents, strengths of which we are often unaware, but which we can instead cultivate and put to good use in pursuit of great change on a global level.

The work phases of each individual project proposal take shape from the same ‘Acts’ that characterise the entire permanent exhibition ‘A World of Potential’. Each strand is divided into 3 different events - ‘The Strength of Human Potential’, ‘The Strength of Collaboration’, ‘People Helping People’ - declined through play-music, kamishibai and the theatre of the opposite.
