Life hasn’t been easy for Lucia, a single mom of two beautiful daughters, Samanta and Lucka. Born prematurely, Lucka faced developmental challenges, and Lucia was determined to give her every chance to thrive.
As a working mom juggling financial struggles, Lucia worried about her youngest daughter falling behind. That’s when she found the Union of Mother Centres, a haven for mothers that are facing similar issues.
Through their supportive programmes, Lucka found her voice—literally. When she started, she wasn’t speaking at all. Now, she’s a chatterbox with a circle of new friends, bringing joy and relief to her mom.
