A colorful stand welcomed families, kids and tourists at the 50th Barcolana

The Human Safety Net took part to the 50th edition of Barcolana, the most famous regatta of the Mediterranean that saw more than 2600 boats competing this year and is sponsored by Generali as main partner.

From 6th to 14th October – the day of the regatta - the activities of the “Village to Grow Up” were moved to the colorful Generali stand in collaboration with the For Families program’s partner, Centro per la Salute del Bambino (Centre for Child Health and Development). The activities were dedicated in particular to children aged 0 to 6 and their families to experience reading, music, games and much more following one main theme, the sea.

The stand was built using only recycled materials and was designed to ease the children’s activities and to underline the importance of the sea, also thanks to the Bora Museum, a museum dedicated to the local gusty wind. Passers-by were asked to bring their plastic caps that Generali will turn into a donation to the Centre for Child Health and Development.

Lots of kids, families, grandparents, sailors and tourists came to the stand and took part in the activities with enthusiasm and discovered more on what The Human Safety Net is doing around the world to unlock human potential.
