In 14 Centers for parents with Novak Djokovic Foundation

The Human Safety Net program For Families was implemented in Serbia in 2018.
In cooperation with our NGO partner Novak Foundation we have created a program that supports parents and caregivers of children aged 0-6 all around Serbia. Our goal is to help the parents provide their children a good start in life and a better chance for the future, by unlocking their potential.

The program “Support, not perfection” has impacted over 2,700 parents and more than 4,000 children. During 2021 and 2022, we have opened 14 Centers for parents in 14 cities in Serbia: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Bač, Sremska Mitrovica, Kovačica, Sjenica, Petrovac na Mlavi, Užice, Vladimirci, Irig, Paraćin, Jagodina, Pančevo, Šabac.

Through 10 workshops of the “Support, not perfection” program, participants have the chance to:

  • Expand their knowledge on the development of children, while learning different strategies for promoting development
  • Learn how to better manage stress, communicate with their children and get useful problem-solving skills
  • Increase self-efficiency, self-confidence and availability of support.

Besides that, every year during the Global challenge, THSN New Year’s Bazaar and other activities we collect funds for our program thanks to the volunteering of our THSN Ambassadors and Generali colleagues.

The program

The Human Safety Net started to support the program Support, Not Perfection in October 2018. So far, more than 2,700 parents have been affected by the program with direct and indirect impact on over 4,000 children in Serbia.

Let’s make better future for children!
