We believe in joining forces of the private and public sector and leading NGOs and social enterprises. That’s why we place a lot of emphasis on building and strengthening an open, global partner network.
Today, a vibrant community of more than 77 leading NGOs and social enterprise already joined the movement. Connected Globally, they are anchored locally. Because we focus on measuring the impact of our programmes, they share a common framework for measuring collective impact. Together we share best practices, pilot new approaches and co-design the future.
To further amplify the work and impact of the community of NGOs and to extend our reach, we partner with social investors. A first community of co-funders already joined the movement. They bring long- term financial support and extensive non-financial support like training opportunities and pro-bono services.
Volunteers play an important role to amplify the activities of the NGOs and to strengthen their capabilities. We design volunteering activities with three principles in mind: Quantity, Quality and Sustainability. In 2022, so far they dedicated more than 35,000 hours.
We also value the contribution of everyone to join the net by making a donation, which will directly support our programmes. All overhead costs of the foundation are born by Generali.
