The Human Safety Net strengthens in the countries and opens its first local foundations

The local foundations act as an open net and welcome co-funders from public and private sectors to increase our impact in the communities.

After four years of fast deployment of its activities and build-up of a Global community of NGO Partners, The Human Safety Net confirmed its ambition to amplify its activities in each of the 23 countries where it is already active.

In order to amplify these activities some local foundations have been established in France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Argentina will follow shortly.

These local structures operate in full autonomy and transparency. The primary aim of each of the NPOs is to increase the reach and impact of The Human Safety Net programmes that it runs with local NGO partners. In addition, an important role of each NPO is to expand the Net locally by attracting public and private sector participation, as well as facilitating fundraising activities that support the community efforts.

The local foundations act as an open net and welcome co-funders from public and private sectors to increase our impact in the communities.

Since its launch in 2017, The Human Safety Net has expanded rapidly, both in terms of its global community of NGO partners, as well as in the fast deployment of activities to impact local communities. By continuing to make our network of NGOs more structured and providing them with both financial and non-financial resources from a wider ‘net’, the potential of thousands more vulnerable families and refugee entrepreneurs can be unlocked.
