Generali sponsors OneSky to support underprivileged kids

Kids living in Sham Shui Po and below 6 now can hangout in OneSky centre, providing a safe playground for kids from local underprivileged families.

The Human Safety Net (THSN) is a global network of people helping people. Together we support people transform their lives. We are glad to be part of this initiative from Generali Group, giving us the opportunity to contribute to our local community. In 2020, we identified a global NGO - OneSky for all children (OneSky) and started sponsoring their Family Centre in Sham Shui Po.  The Centre was founded by OneSky in 2020. The Centre aims to help vulnerable families with children aged, 0-6, reach their potential through responsive care and early education. Besides offering a safe and educational play space, consultation and referral services for marginalized families, the Centre promotes a professional, supportive network by educating caregivers and parents on the OneSky Approach.

OneSky is dedicated to driving early childhood education and development for Asia’s most vulnerable children. Since 1998, OneSky has trained more than 64,100 caregivers and directly impacted more than 227,000 children in China, Mongolia, Vietnam, and at the Hong Kong Centre.

This is the 3rd year of the sponsorship.  Besides sponsoring the centre, our staff also participated in their annual fundraising, Christmas party and volunteer work.  We are looking forward to partnering with them to do more for the community.
