By helping others, we learn a lot!

Ludivine from France and Andrea from Germany committed as digital volunteers during the last months, supporting refugee entrepreneurs with one-to-one language lessons and dedicated webinars to improve their pitch presentations. It has been a truly enriching experience both for the people they support and them, because by helping others, we learn a lot.

In order to keep supporting families and children, Italian NGOs Centro per la Salute del Bambino Onlus, L'Albero della Vita and Mission Bambini had to change how they work and communicate. They have rolled out several initiatives, and thanks to contribution of hundreds of tablets, they are supporting kids' education and strengthening nets of parents where mums and dads can exchange their thoughts and feelings. Time means more than money: the story of Anna

Along with other colleagues, Anna, an IT security specialist at Generali Česká pojišťovna, is engaged as volunteer for Vita et Futura Children’s Center in Prague. Since the beginning, Anna has supported the Centre many times, bringing her ideas and passion for helping the children.

When lockdown started Noémie and her team needed to “invent” new ways to maintain the relationship with the families they help at the family center. They managed to do this creating a What’s App group, ensuring families are regularly contacted and keeping on with the routine as much as possible, including celebrating birthdays.
