“Educating the children of today means providing a better future for the adults of tomorrow”

An education project for children which brings together teachers, families, primary schools and non-profit networks across Italy, Ora di Futuro (meaning Time for the Future) is promoted by Generali Country Italia (Generali Italia, Alleanza, Genertel, Generali Welion, Generali Jeniot, Genagricola, DAS) within The Human Safety Net for Families program. The goal is to teach children from primary school to manage their resources and to make responsible decisions on topics such as health and wellbeing, environmental resources, finances and savings and support initiatives for families from vulnerable backgrounds with children aged 0-6 focused on parenting support, in collaboration with non-profit organisations chosen by the employees of Generali Country Italia.

The program

The three non-profit partners of the project, which are providing parents with the resources and skills to offer their children stronger developmental foundations for their growth are Albero della Vita, Centro per la Salute del Bambino and Mission Bambini.

Starting from 2018, Ora di Futuro has set up 11 centres throughout Italy (Bologna, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Trieste, Turin) and supports vulnerable families in coping during their child’s early years, helping them to reach their potential in emotional, cognitive and motor skills, and laying down stronger foundations for their future development.
